Gallipoli is the site of one of the most brutal campaigns of WWI, the Gallipoli peninsula is now a national park which preserves the monuments of the fallen. Of significant historical and cultural importance to Turks, New Zealanders and Australians the park is located at the entrance to the Dardandlles and the Agean Sea.
